Liza is a Consultant at CEP. She is an environmental economist experienced in research with strong analytical skills, interested in the interface between society, businesses and the natural environment. She is particularly interested in the socioeconomic impacts of climate change and the use of tools and policies that can drive sustainable development. 

In 2013, Imperial College London awarded Liza an MSc with Distinction in Environmental Technology (Environmental Economics and Policy). Her thesis looked into the future of Biodiversity Offsetting in the UK, exploring the barriers and enablers in policy delivery through a stakeholder analysis. Following her thesis Liza briefly collaborated with CEP on the Evaluation of the Biodiversity Offsetting Pilot Phase for the UK Department for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs.Defra.

Liza re-joined CEP after gaining experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies at Accent Market Research. Her role included project management and research design and delivery for both private and public sector clients. She is particularly experienced in qualitative research with a wide range of stakeholders having conducted numerous interviews with a wide range of stakeholders, as well as moderated focus groups exploring public perceptions of environmental issues, in her current and past role.
